About Inizio Interventions
Our founders created Inizio Interventions and brought together two different approaches to applied behavior analysis (ABA) to build the basis of our services.
Inizio Interventions was founded in 2008 by Cara Stearns Entz and Sally Torrens, both Marriage Family Therapists (MFTs) and Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) who brought together these two approaches to work with families and children with autism. Applied behavior analysis and a marriage and family approach provides a strong focus on the family and on functional skills that foster independence.
Today we continue to integrate the latest ABA research and technology to offer the most effective options to our clients. Inizio is led by a talented team of clinicians utilizing evidence-based practices with a family-focused approach to ensure the best possible results. Our BCBA clinicians join Inizio with established and extensive experience in the field of autism and ABA. In addition to their existing experience they are also provided with ongoing training opportunities to enhance and maintain their knowledge base throughout their tenure with Inizio. Our behavior therapists are immediately upon hire enrolled in our intensive 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training that results in a certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). This ensures that our RBTs are prepared to provide the best possible service to our clients.
